What does the textbook cover?

The book covers propositional and first-order logic (polyadic with identity), including truth tables and formal proofs (both Fitch and Lemmon styles).

More so than other books, it also covers applications of logic to philosophy, law, psychology, mathematics, and computer science.

For example, in application to philosophy, students learn how to use logic to charitably interpret and evaluate arguments, with application to arguments on the existence of God from philosophy of religion.
